TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY-- Saturday, Dec. 1, 6pm, at the California Heritage Museum lawn in Heritage Square, 2612 Main (just south of Ocean Park Blvd.); featuring The Caroling Company, soloist Jo Todd, the Samohi Choir, Santa Claus (in a custom-designed suit by Gigi Clark of Uroborus) and of course... the lighting of the Holiday trees! After the tree lighting, join in the CANDLELIGHT WALK to the famous Shopping Cart Tree in the Edgemar Courtyard with more music by the SMC Jazz Vocal Ensemble, and The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers, then check out the numerous holiday parties, and vote for your favorites windows in the 5th Annual Window Decorations Contest, and enjoy The Caroling Company, Jo Todd, the SMC Jazz Vocal Ensemble, the Samohi Choir, and The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers as they go caroling along the street.  The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers WINDOW DECORATIONS CONTEST-- Be a judge and have a chance to win a raffle prize! Participating merchants will decorate their windows by 5pm Friday, Nov. 23. You can pick up a ballot and judge them thru 10:00pm, Saturday, Dec. 1. Ballot for juding windows doubles as entry in raffle-- printable ballot here PRIZES!
