There are two large public parking lots, a few small public parking lots, over 350 metered parking spaces on the street, and several private lots on or next to Main Street. There is a small public lot off Strand, between Main and Neilsen Way and another off Norman Place, near the Library. Meters are fifty cents an hour. Below is the information on the larger lots:
 Lot 9, looking North toward Hill; this lot, with over 270 spaces, runs North-South between Hill and Kinney. You can enter from Hill, Ashland, or Kinney. You get to Hill, Ashland and Kinney from Main or from Neilsen Way. The meters are fifty cents an hour and most are for 3 hours.  Lot 9, looking South, toward Kinney and the Enterprise Fish Company with the entrance from Ashland on the left. The crosswalk is a passage from Main Street to the beach, which is only two blocks away. On the right, on the other side of the tree, is a change machine.  Lot 11, looking North toward Hollister; this lot, with over 110 spaces, runs North-South between Hollister and Ocean Park Blvd., although it does not intersect or have an entrance from Ocean Park Blvd. You can enter from Hollister, or from Main Street between Blonde and The Galley. You get to Hollister from Main or Neilsen Way. The meters are fifty cents an hour and most are for 3 hours. There is a change machine on the right, just North of the entrance from Main.
